大道之行，天下为公。世界东隅，厚积薄发。泱泱华夏三万里河山，煌煌先哲五千年文明。

在这片广袤无际的大地上，自古便孕育了璀璨辉煌的文明。其中，孔子创立的儒学思想，影响了中国，也影响了整个世界。南宋思想家朱熹曾说：“天不生仲尼，万古如长夜。”而在中华民族走向全面复兴的今天，儒家文明与当代中国的历史命运结合得愈发紧密。

“孔子奖章”作为全球以孔子之名设立的最高综合类奖项之一，旨于表彰在全球经济、文化、社会、教育、创新等方面引领社会前进的卓越代表，是以弘扬儒家思想为根本目的的中国和世界文化大奖。孔子奖章设有大成奖、国际友谊奖、大同奖、仁爱奖等奖项。孔子奖章旨在集全球之力，成功运作由中国设计、发起、主导、形同诺贝尔奖的、以弘扬儒家思想为根本目的的中国文化大奖、世界文化大奖—孔子奖章。

孔子奖章的每一次颁发，不仅是一次文化自觉，更是一次文化创新的实践。孔子奖章正逐渐成为中国优秀传统文化评价语系和世界文明多元化对话交流领域的璀璨明珠。

   今年10月，孔子奖章将迎来10周年华诞。这是传承发展的里程碑，继往开来的新起点，寰球同仁翘首以盼，四海贤达同庆吉祥。

在这极具里程碑意义的节点上，组委会在北京为李东山、贝合纳、崔连保、张国庆等授予孔子奖章，其中授予李东山孔子奖章▪大成奖，孔子奖章组织委员会主席团终身名誉主席泽龙、国务院新闻办公室人事局、秘书局原局长汪兴明为李东山颁奖。

       李东山，中共党员，河南邓州人，曾任中共福州市委组织部副部长、中共福州市委老干部局局长，现任福州市老年教育协会会长、福州市老年大学副校长、福州市关工委常务副主任、福州市老体协副主席、福州市直老体协副主席，兼任河南、福建多家商会顾问。 

 数十年来，李东山在工作和生活中，深受中国传统文化的熏陶和影响，对中华民族的灿烂文化高度自信，对伟大的祖国深深热爱，同时也以历代古圣先贤为榜样，努力为党和人民贡献自己的力量。尤其是近年来，在弘扬中华优秀传统文化事业中，李东山同志勇于担当、知行合一，贡献卓著，堪为一代楷模。

       孔子奖章组织委员会给李东山的颁奖词写道：奉献四十载难忘十三年，历史铭刻了他的姓名；从风华正茂到扶掖后进，人民传颂着他的故事；传承红色基因，他历尽考验，淬火成钢；弘扬优秀文化，他砥砺奋进，熠熠辉光；他以绝大的智慧，描绘了一幅壮美的千年文脉卷！

    在颁奖典礼上，李东山表示将以获得孔子奖章大成奖为契机，为让孔子奖章成为解码“文化自信”的品牌力量积极奋斗，努力写好“文化自信”这篇大文章，向世界传递中国精神、中国智慧和中国理念。

风劲帆满海天阔，扬帆远航正当时。在新的起点，新的征程，孔子奖章将继续服务国家战略，在建设世界强国和建设人类命运共同体的伟大征程上，顺大势，担大义，行大道，谋大同，同世界上一切进步力量携手，为开创人类更加美好的未来贡献力量。
